Adroit Construction Services plc, operates as part of the Adroit Group and provides construction services, including associated design, project management, commissioning and training of operatives to the core sectors of water, rail, renewable energy, electrical infrastructure and development and industrial.

We have a defined business strategy to achieve growth by expanding our client base and by assuring the products and services we provide in all respects. This includes improved and consistent processes, high levels of quality, working in a healthy and safe manner, and contributing to improvements in the environment in which we all work and exist. We therefore define below our policy in relation to environment.

• To undertake regular reviews of our operations, measure our existing environmental performance, and undertake environmental risk assessments, in order to identify significant environmental aspects and impacts;
   
• To comply with the relevant legal and other requirements that apply to our operation;
   
• To provide technically competent products, services and solutions that help to conserve and protect the environment;
   
• To set objectives and targets in order to achieve continual environmental improvements in our performance, however large or small, prevent pollution wherever possible and minimise any adverse impacts on the environment and local community;
   
• To raise environmental awareness with our employees, suppliers, subcontractors, clients, end users and the public, and those other organisations with whom we have contact;
   
• To consider sustainable criteria, and encourage the use of sustainable resources, designs and practices over the whole life cycle of the products and services we provide

We are serious about the policies we have declared. These have been established and agreed by all our employees, and specifically endorsed by the Directors and Managers of our Company. We have documented and implemented a Quality Management System, compliant with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000, a Health and Safety Management system compliant with OHSAS 18001: 2007, and an Environmental Management System, compliant with the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001: 2004. These management systems are applicable to all employees working on our site and on clients' premises. These policies endorse the commitments stated above.
