Health and Safety

Health and Safety is of paramount importance to our everyday practice and to our clients.

Adroit Construction has not recorded a serious incident or prosecution against our workings for more than 15 years, and we are passionately committed to maintain this standard. It is our absolute policy that all our operations adhere to the requirements of the "Health and Safety at Work Act 1974", and all our employees are familiar with our methods for good working practice formalised in the company's Health and Safety policy.

We strive to meet the highest standards of health and safety, but recognise that there are ways we can continuously improve and develop our work methods. We have implemented the following procedures to encourage care and concern for health and safety in all of our operations.

We continue to develop the training of our employees to ensure the best practice throughout our operations. The individual competence matrix enables employees to register current training and qualifications and identify, in discussion with colleagues and clients, areas for progression.

We encourage all employees to recognise how health and safe working practice is a key part of individual professional development. We are developing our trainee programme and, as part of this structured training, ensure that a log detailing health and safety procedures throughout the company is updated daily.

Workshops, seminars and regular meetings all help create a cooperative and pro-active work culture. Our employees are encouraged to provide regular feedback on operations throughout the company, and all opinions are taken into serious consideration when improving and developing our health and safety procedures.
