The renewable energy sector is an exciting opportunity to diversify from our core work and push our expertise and skills to the forefront of the engineering industry.

Utility Companies face both considerable political and economic pressure to improve the amount of energy obtained from renewable sources. Typically water companies are facing targets of 40% renewable sources by 2012.

We already participate in the use of CHP applications for the reuse of biogas at sewage treatment works but have now embarked upon a programme for the recovery of energy from hydro sources. We have established relationships with a number of global manufacturers of hydro turbines and can provide a feasibility, design and installation service from 50 KW upwards.
