Objective
Thames Water required modifications to the exisiting Wastewater Treatment Works to bring the effluent into full compliance. The contracts were awarded to Imtech.

What did the project involve?
Our subcontract involved the construction of various reinfirced concrete foundation pads, installation of cable ducts, drainage pipework, ductile iron pipework and valves. Also the installation of reinforced concrete pathways and associated landscaping.

The big issue on this site was the lack of working space. Our planning needed to include for various measures to tackle the lack of space including building chambers in two halves to suit the commissioning programme.
